Date Snacks
Version 1:
- 7 Holy Land Dates Medjoul Dates
- 70g Goats Cheese
- 3 Beef Bacon Strips
1) Pit the dates and evenly spoon goats cheese inside each one.
2) Close up the dates and use cuts of the beef bacon to wrap the dates so that each bacon strip covers the date entirely.
3) Secure using a toothpick through the date and air fry at 190 Degrees Celsius for 5 minutes or until crispy.
4) Optionally serve with a pomegranate seed garnish for a sweet and tangy contrast to the richness.
Version 2:
- 7 Holy Land Dates
- 50g Butter
- 100g Double Cream
- 1 Tbspn Tahini Paste
- Pinch of Sea Salt
1) Melt butter over a medium heat in a non stick pan. Once sizzling, add pitted dates and fry on both sides until caramelised.
2) Whip together double cream and tahini until thick and smooth. Use small spoonfuls, smearing onto serving dish and placing the fried dates on top. Finish with sea salt
