The ingredients you will need to make the perfect Musakhan:
- 15 g allspice
- 8 g ground cardamom
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- 75 g sumac
- 10 chicken legs
- Salt to taste
- 100 ml olive oil
- 7 red onions
- 100 g pine nuts
- ⅔ Middle-eastern flatbread
- 2 lemons
- Preheat the oven.
- Season the chicken using half of the mix. Pan-fry the chicken for 2 mins until golden.
- Fry off sliced onions with remaining seasoning (add water if necessary).
- Add onions to the oven dish and place the chicken on top of the onions.
- Set the oven to 190 degrees Celsius and cook for 20 mins.
- Serve on flatbread with toasted pine nuts and sumac.
Tips to Enhance your Experience:
